Inspired and encouraged by her grandmother, herself a seamstress, she was lucky enough to have been taught hand embroidery and hand sewing skills from a woman who was making bespoke clothing during the heyday of the French couture fashion houses.
Armed with her love of couture, the precious skills lovingly handed down to her through her family, and her studies with London College of Fashion, Lisa has been designing and making ball gowns and wedding dresses for the last 15 years. Lisa's designs incorporate the most beautiful and flattering silhouettes, as well as the timeless elegance of the classic years of couture.
Every gown made by Lisa is uniquely designed for the woman who wears it. Lisa works closely with the bride in designing, fitting, and lovingly hand-finishing each gown.
Using couture dressmaking techniques, and taking
inspiration from vintage gowns and old Hollywood glamour, Lisa’s
focus is on feminine, elegant and figure-flattering designs.
Combined with beautiful hand-picked fabrics, she aims to
make you feel and look your most beautiful on your wedding day.
Lisa aims to create a comfortable, calming haven for
consultations and fittings, and a memorable experience
throughout the process - from design to fabric selection to
fittings.
